5 WARDROBE MUST HAVES
Spring cleaning is just around the corner and with the rising trend of living a minimalist lifestyle thanks to Marie Kondo, we are always so tempted to get rid of a lot of things that don’t spark as much joy (because all our clothes definitely spark joy, duh!) but at the same time we are scared that we might be getting rid of something that we might eventually wear or need. How much is really too much, right? Here is a list of 5 wardrobe must haves that will put your fashion anxieties to rest! As long as you have these, you’ll do just fine and no one will ever notice that you’re just rotating a few key pieces in your wardrobe.
1. Good Pair of Jeans
I remembered buying my first pair of perfectly fitted jeans. I loved them so much I decided to buy 3 of the same style, size and color because why not? They’re originally designed for work wear so they are reliable but at the same time, versatile. Like seriously, it saves you so much time not having to think of what you’re going to wear because you can wear anything with jeans, from casual Friday to Party Saturday, these jeans can get you anywhere when paired with the right top and shoes. The great thing about being a woman is that we can be comfortable and classy in ‘em jeans.

2. Dependable LBD
Have you ever heard of Julia Mooney who wore the same dress for 100 consecutive days and not a single look was ever the same? It’s the same thing as your dependable Little Black Dress (LBD). Put on the right accessories and people won’t ever notice it’s actually the same dress. In addition to that, you won’t ever be overdressed, underdressed, too slutty or look trashy. Hey, there’s a reason why Audrey Hepburn loved wearing her LBD and it has stood the test of time. Your LBD is great for every occasion and it’s the perfect outfit to show off your pearl necklace or your new leather jacket.

3. Classic Handbag
We, women, just can’t leave the house without our handbags. I’m not complaining. They’re heaven-sent. Not only is it a fashion piece but it’s where we store important stuff. Unlike for men, designers have made our pant pockets much shallower than theirs. I am slightly grateful for that because can you imagine bulky pockets stuffed with our lipstick, foundation, thick-ass wallet, etc? Well, I can’t. He’s a secret to buying the perfect classic handbag that will never go out of style. Buy a good, plain quality handbag and add accessories to it. You don’t get what I mean? Try tying a scarf on the handle or probably a bracelet or necklace or even your ribbon scrunchie. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, they’re functional too when you’ve realized that you’re not dressed for the occasion. GAME CHANGER!

They’re perfect for adding layers to your outfit as well as stepping up your t-shirt/jeans game to give it a more sophisticated, sexy and polished look.
