How to Spice Up Your Regular White Shirt Look

We all at some point have owned or will own a white shirt/blouse, it’s the most basic of the basics. So here’s a couple of ways to express yourself while still wearing that plain white shirt.
You can never go wrong with denim. They go with everything. You can either wear your blouse half tucked, one side tucked, bottom tied, or even backwards! Plus, you can wear jeans from ripped jeans to skinny jeans, to even boyfriend jeans. The combination is endless!

Scarves tend to bring color to your outfit and break the boringness, unless it’s a plain white scarf. But layers tend to have an amazing effect on adding texture and depth to your entire ensemble. Tiny scarf neckties are one of my favorite ones to wear with my white blouse. They give me that elegant and classy feel, like I’m about to go to a fashion show or a fancy garden party.

The best way to pair a white shirt is with a statement skirt. What do I mean by a statement skirt? Statement skirts are skirts that are usually worn with plain shirts because of its bold design or eye-catching style/silhouette. It could either be a colored leather skirt, brightly or metallic colored pleated skirt or even a high-low or slit floral skirt.

A non-conventional way of wearing white shirts is adding layers over. What’s more, using a slip dress and overalls make it even more unconventional as it’s very old school. You may think it’s old school but it’s still very classy, depending on what shoes you pair it with too. White sneakers are still a crowd pleaser that turns any 80’s and 90’s ensemble into something hip and chic.
